New Music to excite the ears!
Greek label Panik Records has ignited a reputation for offering up fresh, exciting new music and this month is no different! “Se Enan Aggelo Milw” hits the airwaves; a rap ballad with a generous serving of tenderness and a dash of romance. Midenistis takes care of the rhymes while popular singer Gianni Vardi lends his vocal talents to the track. A sweet collaboration full of heart.
Eleni Foureira’s “Anemos Agapis” has certainly been a firm favourite on the ‘Scandalous!’ playlist for
the last few weeks, and now ahead of its official single release the versatile
singer has filmed a video to accompany the
track; a striking, innovative clip that is slightly unnerving (you’ll
understand what I mean when you see the masked doll-like dancers!). A great
track that is worthy of chart domination, and is perhaps a taster of what is to
come in Eleni’s upcoming new album scheduled for release later this year.
Athens style Bouzoukia night in London!
If you love listening to
your favourite Greek artist up close and personal and are partial to getting
down to a little vareto of your own amidst flying flowers but cant get to the Athenian
bouzoukia clubs any time soon, then this event is for you! The fabulous Thanos Petrelis and Stella Kalli are in London
for night only on Friday 7th March 2014, performing live at the
Decorium, just a stone throw away from London’s Cypriot capital. Ticket
