XCLUSIVE! New Music from Merkouri, Vegas and Celebrity Weddings!

 Exclusive!
       ....with Katerina

This week in Xclusive!

After a long hiatus Greek pop singer Eirini Merkouri makes a welcome return to the music scene! With a new residency in Athens kicking off last weekend at venue Caramela, Merkouri is appearing live alongside Sakis Arsenio, Dimitris Karadimou, Knock Out and Kyriakos Kiano.

As well as strutting her stuff on stage, the singer is also releasing a new single to mark her comeback. "Mas Teleiose", composed by Christodoulou Siganou, Konstandinou Pantis and Valentinos, is a rousing break-up song full of ummmfh that in no uncertain terms tells Eirini's former love "you're dumped!". Not great news for him, but for us - happy days! Welcome back Eirini!

Greek pop group Vegas are getting in touch with their inner child for upcoming release "Paidia Tis Nihtas".

The new track will be hitting the airwaves next week and fans will be as excited to catch their first listen of the song, as they will be to see the accompanying video clip!

Directed by Sherif Francis, the band have gone all out for this one; a mini movie complete with extravagant costumes and high-tech graphics; incorporating 3D animation techniques used for the first time in a video clip. Can't wait!

The saying goes you wait ages for a bus and then they all come at once - well this also seems to apply to A-list celebrity weddings! After years of speculation and the rumour mill in constant overdrive over Hollywood 'will they or won't they' sagas, it seems everyone's jumping on the wedded bliss bandwagon. Brangalina finally took the plunge in August but before the confetti had a chance to settle, another Hollywood favourite made a beeline for the chapel. Notorious bachelor and American movie star George Clooney discarded his single status and nabbed himself a Missus!

After declaring he would never get married again and dating a string of beautiful women, the Oscar winning actor said his  'I do's' in Venice over the weekend, to Oxford-educated human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin.

While the guest list included famous friends from the likes of Matt Damon, Emily Blunt and Bono, the couple kept the celebration sentimental and intimate, sharing their day with one hundred close friends and family.

That’s all for now ~ More music and entertainment XCLUSIVES next week! Until then... x Mwah
