Celebrate the history and wonderful musical art of Rembetika! On Tuesday 14th October legendary British Born Cypriot duo Martha.D Lewis and Eve Polycarpou (formally known as Donna & Kebab) will be hosting an evening of powerful and nostalgic music, celebrating our heritage at The Millfield Theatre in Enfield. Building on last year’s successful event, the popular pair return with their show 'Rembetika & Beyond – A Journey Into The Greek Blues' - "an evocative and nostalgic musical celebration of music from 1920's – 1950's and beyond".
I am extremely excited to be performing at this event, not only for the opportunity to sing such wonderful songs alongside Martha and Eve and a host of talented vocalists and musician's but also be part of an event that is raising money for such a great cause - The Leukaemia Cancer Society. On Saturday 25th October Karras will appearing at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel - set to be transformed from a basement into a 1500 capacity performance venue. Paschalis Terzis is making a welcome return with a brand new repertoire of songs. After a three year absence the revered singer of modern Laiko is back in the studio and preparing his twentieth studio album! His loyal and devoted fan base will no doubt be impatiently waiting for it's arrival!
