Meanwhile, Elli Kokkinou is happy to take the blame to keep her love near with new single “As Ftaio Panta Ego” – a rock / pop ballad that illustrates the more vulnerable shades of being in love.
Nikos Vertis gets a little adventurous with “Oneiro”: predominately a traditional laiko track it surprises with momentary interludes of electro pop and an underlying guitar groove reminiscent of Justin Timberlake’s “Like I Love You”. Celebrity Head to Head
Entertainment icon and two-time Grammy award winner LL COOL J has a new gig – hosting original TV series "Lip Sync Battle". Based on the pop culture phenomenon of lip sync battling, the show pits two celebrities against each other in a head-to-head clash over two rounds, with the audience determining the ultimate winner. The concept of the show is a spin-off of a game that was first introduced by Brit scriptwriter and actor Stephen Merchant (The Office / Hello Ladies) on American chat show “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”. Fallon then developed it into a game segment on his show. Lip Sync Battle contenders to date include The Rock, John Legend, Jimmy Fallon and Common who all featured in the inaugural episode.
This week sees Anne Hathaway battle it out with fellow actress Emily Blunt, choosing to take on Miley Cyrus’ chart hit 'Wrecking Ball'. A teaser trailer has surfaced showing Hathaway giving it her all – dressed à la Miley, she wastes no time in getting into the role, even flipping her former Devil Wears Prada co-star the finger as she rides her prop demolition ball. The star-studded, non-scripted show is expected to showcase future appearances from the likes of Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, Anna Kendrick and Meghan Trainer to name but a few! Since “Lip Sync Battle” first aired earlier this month on American TV Channel Spike - the show has gone viral which means we can all share in the fun across the pond by watching online. Good times!
