 A big thank you to everyone who braved the wintry weather on Sunday and showed their support at the Millfield Theatre to experience “A Journey Into The Greek Blues… Rembetika and Beyond”. Headlined by the legendary singing duo Martha and Eve, it was a fantastic night celebrating not only the legacy of Greek Blues but also showcasing the immense musicianship and talent we have to be proud of in our community. Most importantly this memorable musical evening was in aid of the Leukaemia Cancer Society. Helping to raise essential funds for a vital charity dedicated to ensuring that more people with blood cancer survive, have the best possible quality of life and that their families and carers get the support they need. The Leukaemia Cancer Society is also devoted to the recruitment of volunteer bone marrow donors, research, education and patient care. I feel extremely proud and honoured to have had an opportunity to perform and be part of this great event.  Life is certainly imitating art for popular Greek group REC flying high with their latest official digital single! “Petao Psila” already boasts 100,000 online views in only its first week of release and according to MediaInspecter, has also been heralded as the highest climber and biggest increase in audience on radio in Greece and Cyprus.  “Miss Independent” Kelly Clarkson has become a Mrs! The Greek-American has made it official and married talent manager and long term boyfriend Brandon Blackstock. The original US Xfactor winner shared the happy news with her fans tweeting "I'm officially Mrs. Blackstock :)”
