Bottoms Up!
Latin-American
superstar Jennifer Lopez is capitalising on her biggest asset! Arguably
possessing the most famous derriere in the world, Lopez is celebrating her most
talked about feature with a song entitled err… “Booty”! The new
single reunites Jennifer with Cuban rapper Pit-ball on this DJ Diplo
collaboration. They are no doubt keeping their fingers crossed and hoping to
emulate their previous shared, chart successes, most notably enjoyed by 2011
global smash “On The Floor”.
In a recent interview, Jennifer admitted that she was initially hesitant about including the track on her newly released eighth studio album “Aka”: “I heard it and I was like there’s no way in the world that I will ever have a song called ‘Big Booty’... it’s just that I felt like it would be a joke, you know what I mean? And I didn’t want that for this album, this was an important album to me. I was a serious artist!” (Lopez laughs) “And then I played it in the car... and my twins were in the car and they went nuts for the song! It was a first listen, the minute it came on. And I was like, ‘I have to put this… song on the album’.”
With the twins approval and her obvious sense of fun, the song made the cut and is due for release later this summer. Jennifer adds: "It's a great song, it's a fun song and it's a bout owning everything about you and who you are, and embracing that".
